Throughout the week, administrative professionals from across campus engaged in opportunities for professional development, collaborative learning, and community-building. Sessions explored topics, including career engagement, building effective workplace relationships, and emerging technology tools, while also creating space for colleagues to connect and celebrate the important contributions administrative professionals make to the º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ community each day.
CAST was also pleased to help promote the Administrative Professionals Breakfast, hosted by Human Resources and coordinated by University Events, which provided a meaningful opportunity for colleagues to gather in recognition and appreciation.
The week was made possible through the generosity of those who shared their expertise and time. CAST extends sincere thanks to Beth Lane, Cherie Ball, Esther Rosbrook, Darline Wattles, and Robin Bridson for leading engaging and thoughtful sessions, as well as to Human Resources and University Events for their partnership in supporting Administrative Professionals Week. Appreciation is also extended to Shaun Kinney from IT for providing music during Friday’s Ice Cream Social Mixer, helping set the tone for a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere to close out the week.
Most importantly, thank you to all who participated throughout the week. Your engagement helped create a strong sense of community and connection, reflecting the collaborative spirit that strengthens administrative work across º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ every day.
Whether through professional development sessions, moments of celebration, or community-building traditions like Secret Snowflake and summer gatherings, CAST remains committed to fostering meaningful connections across campus.
