Created and performed by the THEA 359 Theater for Young Audiences class, the play invites young and old to think about authenticity and wonder. Hazel wants to write a “perfect” story — don’t we all? only to discover that truth can be sometimes, if not always, more than perfection and that an original creative act rests equally on both imagination and inner truth. An origami world, fairies, spirits, a fish, and four brave little girls help Hazel see what it takes to tell a story.
