Financial Support and Discounts
We believe in making the º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ Writers Conference accessible to all voices, especially to those in the surrounding areas and to those who face financial barriers. Thanks to our generous supporters, we can offer tuition support to nearly half of all participants. We encourage applicants to complete a scholarship application, requiring a statement of need and optional demographic information.
The scholarship application is included in the general application. The scholarship application deadline is February 15.
Discounts
For those who have attended the conference in the previous five years, are º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ faculty, staff, or students, or live within a 100-mile radius of the º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ campus, please contact writersconference@colgate.edu for a discounted rate. Discounts are only available for the intensive workshops and standard genre-specific workshops. (They do not apply to the jumpstarter workshop, retreater offering, or agent consultations.)
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel by May 1, 2026, you will receive 50% of the program fee back.
No refunds will be given after May 2, 2026.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to writersconference@colgate.edu.
