Preliminary construction has officially begun on the Carey Center, a transformative 97,250-square-foot athletics facility that will serve as the new cornerstone of º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University’s Division I athletics program.

º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University recently welcomed music producer, DJ, and multimedia storyteller Bobby Carter as its 2026 Clifford Family Innovator in Residence.

His visit will provide the º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ community with insights into the intersection of digital media, storytelling, and the music industry.

Tracee Ellis Ross, the award-winning actress, producer, founder, and CEO, will join the º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ community for a keynote Q&A during º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University’s annual Arts, Creativity, and Innovation Weekend.

The elective designation, awarded by the American Council on Education and the Carnegie Foundation, recognizing the University’s continuing commitment to community engagement and partnerships.

As of Dec. 31, 2025, º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University has raised more than $5.9 million for the º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ Fund. This milestone places the University more than halfway toward its $10.4 million goal for the 2026 fiscal year.

Mr. Robert Hung Ngai Ho ’56, H’11, C.M., O.B.C., passed away peacefully in Vancouver, Canada, on Nov. 30, 2025, at the age of 93.
