Tara Bubble, deputy director of undergraduate admissions at Cornell University, has been named dean of admission at º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University. She will take up her new post on October 15.

º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ students will now have the opportunity to apply for special 10-week paid summer internships with major companies located in Germany, thanks to the university’s new membership in the German American Exchange (GAE).

Looking back on another successful fiscal year, the campus community is honoring the generosity of alumni, parents, and friends. Overall giving to º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ rose nearly 10 percent to $35.1 million between July 1, 2017, and June 30, 2018.

On September 22 at 8 p.m., the legendary ensemble Earth, Wind & Fire will appear in Sanford Field House for a concert honoring º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ at 200 Years.

With the beginning of its Bicentennial year, º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University will launch its 56th and newest major: film and media studies (FMST).

What if you could go big and go home? That would be a º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ reunion. Last weekend, more than 2,600 alumni and friends returned to º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ for Reunion 2018.

Hanna Rodriguez-Farrar, vice president for public affairs and university relations at Dominican University of California, will join º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University as chief of staff to the president starting August 1.

º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½â€™s newly enrolled Class of 2022, one of the university’s largest, shows students joining the community in increasing numbers from the midwest, the Southeast, and New York, compared to class statistics from four years earlier.

Today, members of the Class of 2018 received the degrees that they worked so hard to attain. Honored guests and familiar friends, rising to congratulate them, made clear that these graduates are taking their liberal arts education into a world of change.

On April 25, º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University’s Clifford Art Gallery celebrated the opening of The Hill Envisioned: What Might Have Been — What Might Yet Be. The exhibition is an exploration of the development of º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½â€™s distinctive campus throughout the last 200 years.
