Fiji is famous for its crystal clear waters and idyllic beaches — but it is also home to vital coral reef research. Amelia Rastley ’25 spent her summer along the coast of Fiji conducting research on coral reefs with the Sea Education Association (SEA).

Tommy Melgoza ’26 spent his summer in the newsroom at FOX 32 Chicago, shadowing reporters, producers, and anchors while learning how daily TV media is made.

Sep. 27–28, º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University hosted the biannual Michael J. Wolk ’60, MD, Conference on Medical Education, sponsored by the Michael Wolk Heart Foundation and organized by º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½â€™s Health Sciences Advising Office and Career Services.

After spending a semester abroad with the º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ Geneva Study Group in the fall of 2022, Brenna McConnell ’24 returned to the Swiss alpine city for a summer internship at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

In December, 25 º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ students headed to New York City for the 2023 pre-law immersion trip.
